一、論壇簡(jiǎn)介
國(guó)際青年學(xué)者東湖論壇，旨在集聚海內(nèi)外不同學(xué)術(shù)背景的海內(nèi)外優(yōu)秀青年學(xué)者，在國(guó)際前沿科技及熱點(diǎn)研究領(lǐng)域展開(kāi)交流與探討。論壇設(shè)置數(shù)學(xué)、物理、化學(xué)材料與環(huán)境、工程科學(xué)、信息科學(xué)、生命科學(xué)、人文社會(huì)科學(xué)以及醫(yī)學(xué)八個(gè)分論壇。通過(guò)報(bào)告和討論，促進(jìn)國(guó)際學(xué)者之間的交流和合作，共同為解決國(guó)際前沿問(wèn)題和建設(shè)可持續(xù)發(fā)展的未來(lái)而努力。
二、申請(qǐng)條件
年齡在40歲以下；具有海外知名大學(xué)博士學(xué)位；或者具有國(guó)內(nèi)博士學(xué)位，并在海外工作2年以上。在自然科學(xué)與工程技術(shù)、經(jīng)濟(jì)管理與人文社科等領(lǐng)域取得一定成績(jī)或具有發(fā)展潛力的海內(nèi)外優(yōu)秀青年人才。
三、申請(qǐng)時(shí)間
登陸了解會(huì)議詳情，提交參會(huì)申請(qǐng)。11月20日申請(qǐng)截止；11月25日前發(fā)出參會(huì)通知。
四、日程安排
12月28日 全天報(bào)到；
12月29-30日 論壇報(bào)告與交流。
五、差旅及住宿
受邀參會(huì)學(xué)者往返差旅經(jīng)費(fèi)由主辦單位提供，論壇期間食宿由主辦單位統(tǒng)一安排。

1. About the Forum
The East Lake International Forum for Outstanding Overseas Young Scholars(East Lake Forum) aims at gathering outstanding young scientists and technologists all over the world to interact and discuss emerging frontiers in science and technology. The forum covers a wide range of disciplines including mathematics, physics, chemical engineering & materials science, engineering, information science, bioscience, humanities, social sciences and medicine.Through presentations and discussions, the forum will foster cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation among the meeting participants in emerging scientific and technological fields and contribute to sustainable development.
2. Requirements for applicants
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Be under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2014
Hold a doctoral degree from a world renowned university or a from a Chinese university with at least 2-year overseas working experience
Have shown innovation and potential in your area of focus (science, engineering, economics, management, humanities and social sciences etc.)
3. Deadline for application

Dec 29- 30: Opening Ceremony, Invited speeches and Presentations
